These are aluminum crochet hooks. I haven't looked closely at all of them, but the ones I've used so far don't seem to have any manufacturing defects. Just a small note: as others have pointed out, they are not labeled with a letter. (Probably so they can be sold internationally as I think that's the American standard.) Labeling should be simple enough if I want to. The point is what you see here is what you get. Edit: Small issue, the hook marked 10mm in my kit is the same diameter as the hook marked 9mm. I don't care as I already have a 10mm/N hook but be careful with the buyer? Editing again: the three largest (labeled 8, 9, 10mm) are actually all 8mm. Will take a star.
