I find this to be a very economical way to make non-critical connections. I can't confirm its water resistance or if it can actually handle ten amps of current through those small contacts. However, I consider this to be a cost-effective solution for many applications. There are no instructions included. It's pretty intuitive, except maybe for the little red bets. I asked the seller and he sent me pretty good instructions. Once I realized the red insert had entered the half of the connector that didn't already have it, it was pretty easy. It has trouble accommodating large gauge wires (18 Ga with what I would call standard insulation) as it becomes difficult to properly hold and crimp the water seal. Another problem was the correct orientation of the locking tabs. However, you can look down the shaft of the plug and see the retaining latch, so that's not a problem. Simply line up the locking tabs with the locking padlocks and you're done. All of these things are relatively minor, but the fact that you can't remove the stylus once it's locked may be an issue for some. I was operational. my ratchet is crimping on these connections when I found that despite a set of "B" crimp dies, the jaws were too wide. The standard "B" crimping tool works great, but you may have to crimp it twice to tighten it. Another plus is that I took the sensor wire from a 2006 Chevrolet because it looked like a straight line. By plugging it into one of those ports, I was able to gauge the integrity of the pair.
