I can't say whether it is really resistant to organisms. I doubt it, but I'm not sure and I'm not sure what it means or what specific organisms this case is resistant to. I was expecting it to last longer, but am disappointed. I received the case on 08/26. bought on 28.08. got it and after a few weeks the thread started to unravel and now the glue or something has come loose and the back next to the camera has fallen apart. I have emailed the company and will see how they deal with it. I'm optimistic they will be honorable and value the customer to get it right. Not all. If I get an answer from them I will update.
