Review on E3 Spark Plugs E3.62: Unleashing Enhanced Performance with DiamondFIRE Technology! (1-Pack) by Eric Fish

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A noticeable improvement, but don't expect to be blown away.

Revain sent me the wrong one, I bought the right one from my local shop. Revain paid for the return postage and refunded my money. That's now 3 sentences that I put in the car. This kit was included in the 3.1 liter 175 hp Pontiac. Noticeable improvement in throttle response and traction at high revs. BUT - don't expect to be blown away. Combined with a muffled Thrush muffler, a K&N air filter, new OEM coils and 8.5mm wires from MSD I probably got +10% horsepower. Even more impressive, my combined mileage went from 19.5mpg to 23.5mpg. Again, it's the combination of parts that has achieved this, not just the E3. Because of the mileage and the slight increase in power, the full combo was $300. ***UPDATE*** 11/20/2020 I no longer own this machine but felt the need to report other results. Not all cars are happy with that. More recently, the 2004 Grand Cherokee with the 4.7-liter non-HO engine responded poorly to rough idle and only felt the ceiling—as if peak power had started to drop sooner. They were removed and the factory copper candles were reinserted. My 70 Cuda wasn't happy either (340 to 408, MSD 6LS, Holly Dominator EFI). It has quite a lot of cams and is a bit rough when idling. After E3 she didn't want to be idle at all, although she tried to tweak the 6LS and Dominator systems to compensate. She was just angry. Never paid attention to a test drive. Autolite Platinum installed. The 2000 Grand Caravan 3.0 v6 also suffered from poor idling, actually losing nearly 1mpg. Autolite Platinum installed.
