This is probably the most neglected filter of all filters, mostly because nobody knows how to change it. Stores take advantage of this lack of knowledge and charge anywhere from $60 to $100. Ah, but that's about to change. If you set an air conditioner, heater or the air conditioner to fresh air mode, a clean cabin filter is a must. I don't care what level you are at, you can do it. First, do a Google search for something like "2009 Accord Cabin Air Filter YouTube" and boom, an instant list of "how to make" videos for your car. Second, change the filter. Here's the step-by-step process, but it really makes more sense if you've watched your YouTube video first. Trust yourself you can do it - good luck.1. The filter is located directly behind the glove box2. Empty the glove box 3. Open and let rest 4. Slide your fingers up either side of the glove box until the dash/top of the glove box stops you, then press each side - firmly 5. The glove box detaches and falls even lower, allowing you to see the tray with the Filter6. The shell has protrusions on each of its sides. You can see and even feel yourself. Click on the tabs while clicking on the glove box. It will appear.7. Pull out the bowl and replace the filter8. Push the tray back in and you will hear it click into place.9. Close the glove compartment and you're done.
