A solid win, but only with the right stats. This monitor has very high specifications. The resolution is 3440 x 1440 with G Sync and 120Hz refresh rate. This is a very bright display with a peak brightness of around 450 nits. It's so bright that I only use Game 2 mode in the RPG settings, I can't use anything brighter, believe me it's incredibly bright. You have to turn off the settings of the game you're playing if it's is too bright. Okay, so this monitor is fully capable of running AAA games at Ultra or HIGH settings as long as you have the right hardware to support it. What does that mean? Well, first I work for my SPEC: I9900k, 8 cores up (5.2GTZ OC) MSI Trident X Plus with 32GB RAMRTX 2080ti Ventus DUO from MSIPSU: Gold Standard 7503 Pcie NVME SSD. Do you understand. So I see high frame rates in most games, be it RPG or FPS in HIGH settings or ULTRA, but it doesn't reach the full 120Hz refresh in ULTRA, no. HIGH or even medium settings on MOST games. I see the refresh rate hitting that MARK. It really depends on the game and the type of game you are playing. OSD Menu: Very easy to use, the navigation menu was well thought out and I haven't encountered any problems. Don't forget to change the FACTORY refresh rate in the Nvidia Control Panel from 60Hz to 120Hz, otherwise this monitor is useless in this regard. Love the Alien FX lighting and how easy it is to set up in the OSD. I usually leave it on Atem or Spectrum to change the colors to match my Logitech G560 speakers. I really recommend sitting further away from this monitor, not close. The colors are very bright and rich. Literally no washed out colors, no backlight, and if there's very little on that IPS screen, at least you won't notice it on my device. Assembly and Setup: Ummm took about 2 minutes to set up and run. It was easy. No tools required, just use the included Wing BOLT and you're done. The monitor is actually not that heavy. It is very durable and will not wobble or move when lightly touched. It's also adjustable, so plus twist and tilt. Do you have to turn around? No, actually the thing isn't huge, I just have it installed with a flick of the wrist. Final Thoughts: Folks, I really don't have much to say about this monitor. This monitor is truly epic in every way, and when it retailed for $1029 I grabbed it. It literally took 2 days for delivery, after which it was at my doorstep. Remember that the BOX is huge. The packaging is second to none and the instructions are clear as day when you pull the monitor out of its old home (box). a machine with at least an RTX 2070 Super or higher to run this beast at its native resolution. If not then I wouldn't see a use for it and would look elsewhere. I hope this review helps you with your purchasing decision as I am very impressed and hope you will be as well when it reaches your doorstep.
