Review on Enhancing Stability: PANAVISE 308 Weighted Base Mount by Edwin Kreps

I bought 4 of these for our soldering stations in our electronics school lab. We purchased vacuum holders for our Panavise 301 PCB vise, but the vacuum holders did not fit well on the table top and fell loose after a few minutes. This was very frustrating for our students. The weighted base is strong and really stabilizes the base for every board our students put there. One comment complained about the build quality. I can't share it at all. They are well made and very easy to assemble. It's a real pleasure to buy something that's actually made in the USA! I will not buy a vacuum cleaner again. The weighted base is just what we need for our lab.
