I'm happy with this cable but I only give five stars to the best of the best so it gets an above average rating. It could have been better. The battery terminals are good but require some work to make good contact on the oxidized terminals without using a battery brush first. And the "cigarette lighter" plug on the opposite end could be a little deeper and possibly have some sort of "tether" to hold the accessory's cigarette lighter adapter in place. Those are SMALL little things, but enough to keep him from being "absolutely the best of the best." connection (fuses regularly blow). I decided to bypass the dash cigarette lighter port and go straight to the battery rather than swap out the (otherwise near-perfect) Kensun inflator. For the first time I was able to fully inflate tires on two cars in one session without losing a fuse! This device is ideal for this purpose. However, I noticed that the cigarette lighter adapter on the Supercharger was unplugged several times. Requires a clean install for the device to work. An improved "hold function" would still contribute a lot. And as I said, the clamps are fine, but I'm seriously considering replacing them with the heavier ones from the old jumper cable set, as they needed some 'stuffing' before they got a good connection to the car battery I connected . . Maybe I'll just toss a wire pole brush in my compressor bag instead. The cross-section of the cable could be larger. With what I was doing, the wire got pretty hot before I was done. Heavier ladders would be better, but at the expense of increased storage size and weight. But the size of the conductor is definitely enough to do even the job I've done (all the tires on two machines at once) without being DANGEROUS, and more than enough to fit all four tires on one machine with ease.
