Bought this cable to connect to a tire pump which had a short cable. It easily connects to a car battery, works as you like, and is portable so it can be easily carried in the car along with the pump.

I bought to connect a 12v Powerchill heater cooler directly to the terminals rather than to a marine battery via a car cigarette lighter. Used it at a farmers market last weekend for over 4 hours and it worked great.

The cable seems to be of very decent quality. Flexible (not rigid) and alligator clips are fairly large and firm (do not fall off). If it matters most, there is already a 20 amp fuse in the built in fuse holder, as well as additional 20 and 25 amp fuses (3 total). Happy with this purchase.

The product worked well. Comes with a Velcro strap so it can be rolled up and secured when not in use. The company sent extra backups, a "nice touch". Line of decent length and medium caliber for the intended purpose. The battery clips are a bit more flexible than I would have liked, but they held up well in early use, giving durability a 4-star rating, which I love.

If you are using sensitive electronics with these 12v cigarette lighter sockets, be aware that the fact that they do not have solder connections can increase resistance, especially when combined with Anderson power poles or other solderless connectors. I'm referring specifically to amateur radio applications, but there are other applications where voltage needs to be checked during use, such as: B. astronomical devices, etc. Normal power requirements are easily managed with this device.

I'm happy with this cable but I only give five stars to the best of the best so it gets an above average rating. It could have been better. The battery terminals are good but require some work to make good contact on the oxidized terminals without using a battery brush first. And the "cigarette lighter" plug on the opposite end could be a little deeper and possibly have some sort of "tether" to hold the accessory's cigarette lighter adapter in place.
