I was looking for a light that can be both: rechargeable and work with batteries. I have not tested in camping yet, but I tried so far at home and it. rules! The light is bright. You can recharge it via USB cable and you can add batteries. The coolest part: It has 2 detachable flash lights that work with 3 AAA batteries each. The full thing takes 3 1.5V D batteries. I tied it without batteries. It comes charged (at least up to a point if not fully) and the light is good. It has scales and it also includes a flashing red light for emergency!I definitely recommend this product!
