I don't normally post negative product reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about this product. If you are trying to secure your car/trailer with this particular lock, don't waste your money. When I received the device, my first reaction was that it doesn't weigh much. In this case, weight equals strength. The metal is very thin for a protection device. The second thing that struck me is the quality or lack of the welds on the unit. Both of these problems make the device inherently inferior. I expect a few hard hits with a hammer will completely disable the locking mechanism or truss rod. If you rely solely on this device as a "visual" theft deterrent, this app might work. If you're trying to really secure your car/trailer, get one much higher quality than this.
