So far these guys are the best brakes I've had on my hybrid touring bike. Excellent braking performance in wet weather (just returned from a short ride in the rain). TIP: If you have center links with thinner pads you will have to fiddle with the shim configuration and may need an additional 3/4 inch cable. So make sure you have room for extensions before ordering - these pads are very thick. If you choose to do this, you must compensate for this thickness by minimizing the use of shims. A choice of hardware and circuitry is provided for tuning, but my Fuji hybrid required me to further reduce the action of the shim between the shoe and the brake lever. I played around with it and it was worth it. Maybe next year I'll replace the cables, but they're still old.
