The chair itself seems comfortable, but the chair I received has a number of problems which I will describe: When I opened the box, I noticed that there were 8 screws at the bottom of the box turned. While assembling the screws, I noticed a small item wrapped in bubbles and put it aside, thinking it was a prefix for later. I assembled the wheels and piston, but when I got to the bottom of the chair with the adjustment rod, I noticed a sharp edge on the rod. It turned out that the rod was broken. However, after collecting the entire chair and sitting on it, I found that the chair would not move up and down. I can't adjust the height of the chair at all. After extensive testing, sitting and not sitting in the chair, I have come to the conclusion that the chair is completely broken. Another comment I have about this chair is that I was expecting a "new stool smell" like you are experiencing. when buying new furniture or a new car but all I found was that the chair smelled like stale air which had a slightly fishy odor. The production date on the chair is 9/22/2014 which still surprises me that the chair is in terrible condition and smells terrible. Conclusion: Even after extensive testing, the chair cannot be adjusted in height. The height adjustment rod was broken on arrival. The chair smells of fish. I am very disappointed and disappointed in this purchase and will absolutely not recommend this chair or brand to any of my friends or family and stand by my 1 star rating. This is totally unacceptable for the $70 I paid for this chair.
