I ordered this seat to replace my worn out original boat seat. My original seat has the 5x12 bolt pattern, so reading the description it states this replacement seat has a 5x12 bolt pattern.it does not. The bolt pattern is less than 12" approx 11 5/8", so it would not match up to the mounting hardware I had. luckily, the 5x5 pattern matched up, so I mounted my seat sideways (can't use the forward and back feature to adjust the seat now).Overall the seat looks like good quality. The back rest is relatively short when using the bolster, feels like you will fall backwards off of the seat.
