Review on ๐Ÿถ SportPet Designs Rolling Plastic Airline Approved Dog Crate - Ultimate Mobile Kennel for Travel by Sarah Foreman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Overall excellent! - boxes, cabins and pens

*haven't traveled by plane yet, check* I ordered a few months before the flight. I have a book that I want to travel with my German Shepherd. I was worried the airlines wouldn't take her because although she can roll over and lie down comfortably, her ears touch the top when she's standing and her tail rubs against the walls when she rolls over. Luckily I live relatively close to the airport and took my pup to a kennel to verify with Alaska Airlines that the kennel was approved. They said it was ok and fine as long as the dog could turn inside out. I ordered this kennel because it has detachable wheels, I weigh 105 pounds and it will be difficult to carry my carry on and a 60 pound dog alone so I figured it would be better to take the wheels off when boarding the flight to remove (the airline does not accept it). They have a blocking feature. I was at DCA airport, it was a bit difficult to push/pull her without losing control as she adjusted inside and she tipped over the crack (my dog was fine). Overall it's great! And it seems strong, even though my dog gnawed off the bowl heads (thankfully I ordered a Revain replacement for less than $1).
