I was looking for a Hummer class to make mask straps that didn't cost a fortune and that led me to these. They're a little bigger than I actually wanted, but I couldn't find anything smaller for a reasonable price. Most of the smaller ones were sterling silver - too expensive and too small. They are very durable and I have no doubt they will stand the test of time. The problem is that they are very dark! I don't know, maybe it's because I live in South Florida by the sea? This is very frustrating as I gave away the mask straps and after a few months they turned black like the attached photo. I have no idea how to clean them or how to prevent them from tarnishing. I still give them three stars because of the beautiful design, solid construction and overall value for money. Just hope most people don't need mask straps when the clasps turn black! If anyone knows how to clean them, please let me know! Thank you!
