Review on Get Your Bike Upright With Greallthy'S Adjustable Aluminum Alloy Kickstand For 24"-28" Mountain And Adult Bikes by Scott Snyder

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Did not fit good for me

The bike on the left is the Kick stand that did not fit and I had to add a piece to make it long enough. The orange bike is the way it should fit.

Pros
  • easy to install
Cons
  • The kickstand extends too high, causing the bike to wobble and unbalance during use

Not the prettiest kickstand, but because of the extra strut that stops it from rotating out of position it works quite well. I recently "electrified" my bike and put a carrier mounted battery pack on it, which was not handled nicely by the center mounted stand - this stand, mounted close to the rear wheel, makes the bike much more stable.

I like how sturdy this is. How it straps on to 2 bars creates good stability. Its easily height adjustable, and I''m glad my bike doesn''t want to tip over anymore.UPDATE: After 2 weeks, this got real loose. Lost both rubber bushings where it connects to the bike, and 1 of the screws stripped out. Fortunately, I fix things for a living. I tapped out the one hole for a larger thread screw, and wrapped new rubber around the bike posts. Now its good, and I expect it''ll hold a while.
