Does not support all phones!

Hope this helps someone. I bought this to replace and upgrade the factory panel in my daughter's 2010 Ford Edge to a smart touchscreen. Didn't want to spend a lot of money but wanted to give her a safer way to navigate, take calls and connect music so she didn't have to check her phone while driving. First note: Mirror Link feature does not support all phone models. I tested the mirror link with my iPhone 11 running iOS 14.7.1 and it worked without any issues, but the mirror link did NOT work with my daughter's iPhone 11 Pro Max. The radio sound quality is good for the price, remember you get what you pay for. I couldn't tell any difference in sound quality between the two devices. This radio is definitely an upgrade over a non-smart factory radio with no noticeable difference in sound. Bluetooth functionality worked with both phones with no issues, but we were never able to properly download his phone book from the phone to the radio. The phone book showed empty/empty. The steering wheel controls were easy to program but not the steering wheel buttons on her 2010 Ford Edge. Your mileage may vary depending on the vehicle. Volume up and down worked for us, song forward and backward worked but the voice control button (like Siri but I don't know what to call it on the old device) wouldn't connect. The call start and end buttons are not programmed into the radio. I'm not sure if the cruise control buttons on her steering wheel were lost as we didn't test that feature. I'm returning the radio because we bought it specifically for Mirror Link so she can navigate the Mirror Link to the screen. and your iphone is not supported. We would have kept the radio at a low price if the mirror link had been supported by their phone.
