Dislike car care

I was going to use this on my car but it needs to be fluffier as you can see in my photo, the hard plastic is exposed when you peel off the mop part. My car is a classic beauty and I can't risk scratching a few. So I figured I'd try using it around the house, but no, without the ability to adjust the lobe part at an angle. So I haven't found a use for it.
