Review on Xero Shoes TerraFlex Running Hiking Men's Shoes in Athletic by Steve Stone

I liked the idea, it fits, zero drops. The material just doesn't hold up. I've had a couple, maybe 6 months of light walking, mowing my 1/4 acre yard, and they were looking awful. The sole was separating from the upper, the leather-like material had scuffs and scrapes. I threw the shoes away but they looked like a few photos in some of the 2018 and 2019 reviews. I really wanted to like the shoes but they just don't stretch. I've worn out VFFs, Merrells and others that have lasted much longer than this one. Someone at the company mentioned that people have been wearing them for years with no problems. I'd like to believe so, but my personal experience says otherwise.
