So I've been using this thermometer for about a week now. Initially I had some concerns about the temperature sensor as it is connected to Neal's very grumpy monitor that likes to destroy everything. Fortunately, at the time of this review, she had not spotted the probe. Check the temperature accuracy with a heat gun. Both are read at the bathing place. The timer function is great and I think you can set 4 or 5 timers. I use 3 for the fan. The length of the cord is more than adequate, it's nice and thick to handle the increase in amperage when using the output band for your timer/heating/always-on options. The instructions spoke of simple preset functions for new users. I was able to easily customize the features to my needs. Works great for me, especially for the price. I'm happy.
