The reason I bought this one from the competition was because it beeps when it's at the right temperature, unlike a kettle that costs three times the price and doesn't . Looks amazing and performs exactly as you would expect. The only downside I have is that basically the empty heat shield just doesn't work. It eventually gives an E1 error but tries to fully heat the empty kettle. Even when I first turned it on, just playing with it, before there was any water in it, it started to heat up and then vaporize. You just have to turn it off when you install it again.
