Does Not Provide Advertised Power

The product seems to work just fine for data transfers only but after testing multiple connectors from my power supply I could only get a reading of 5 watts and 966 milliamps on the USB C connection that is advertised as provding 5v 3 Amps.

I reached out to the manufacturer and they stated that "the card cannot support 5V/2.4A or 5V/3A as it does not support any charging protocol."I was able purchase the Ableconn PU31-1A1C with the same chipset and once that product was connected to the power supply it gave me the full 3 Amps on testing with data transfer! I fully recommend you spend the extra $4 and get that product instead:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0157BS5D0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
