Review on Royal Purple 341777 Extended Filter by Todd Stovall

I am a car enthusiast who loves my car and is obsessed with keeping it running for as long as possible. I also have experience rebuilding engines and always recommend Royal Purple oil and filters. I have a 2001 4runner with 190,081 miles and while fixing a leaking valve cover gasket I removed the valve covers and was amazed at how clean the top was. I've seen a lot of cars covered in dirt and grime, but mine was spotless except for the purple tint. It's a fact that a sludge-free engine is more efficient and lasts longer. These filters are very well constructed compared to the crappy filters you get from Jiffy Lube and other similar vendors. They have even thicker metal to keep the canister from bulging (and losing pressure) when the engine is hot!
