When I skateboarded I needed a cooler shoe, but I also needed a shoe that offered ample protection and was rated for heavy use, which I found with good reviews and wasn't disappointed. First, they are made of thick quality leather. Holds the foot well, good thick profile that is not thin at all where it has a good quality sole. My size 8 fits perfectly as I expected. There are no cons, I can't think of one that makes me very happy with the purchase.
