I wanted to replace the fans on my son's gaming pc, I had regular Thermaltake red ring fans (no RGB). I needed 6 of these for his case and if I look at the main fans that are coming (Corsair etc) they will cost around $150-$200. I came across these fans in packs of six, it's hard to find most of these in packs of 2, 3 or 5. For $46 I took a chance and ordered it. When I received them they were packaged strangely. Two plain brown boxes glued together - a red flag? Opened them up and honestly they seem to be well made, didn't feel cheap, even had sound deadening rubber pads. Installation was easy, the included power cords were long enough to easily reach the controller box in my son's Corsair Air 540 case, which is not small. Three in front, two on top and one on the rear exhaust. If you have a really tall, full-tower case, you may have problems since no extension cords are included. When turned on, one fan didn't spin, but I tapped the fan hub a few times and it started spinning and still works. The LEDs all worked fine (and there are plenty of them per fan), were bright and filled the fans with a color very similar to the Corsair HD 120 that I have. My biggest complaint is that they didn't come with any instructions, not so much on how to install it as how to use the included controller. It's a trial and error process when setting up the lighting. I don't know how many combinations there are, but there are many. They are surprisingly very quiet (as quiet as my corsairs) and move a lot of air. You can't control the fan speed, but you don't have to. They usually cost seven euros each, which is cheaper than many entry-level fans without an RGB housing. Worth the money, let's see if they hold up.
