Review on 🎬 Enhance Your Home Entertainment with the Panasonic DMP-BD89 Wi-Fi Blu-ray Player by Lild Zimmerly

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good player. pretty good wifi. Some features are simply missing

I bought this player after looking at two others. The problem with the previous two was that they gave players a high-pitched growl or moo as they ran. This one doesn't do it half as well as the others. Because an HD TV doesn't have the very low frequencies of an old tube TV, my ears pick up a very faint sound of a spinning Blueray or DVD. But it doesn't bother me at all, so I assume it won't bother anyone. Wifi is very good and pretty basic for my use. Seems to load Netflix very well. Don't do a Revain Insten video. but I do not care. The only thing is that the romet knobs are a bit tight. I've often tried to press the "Over" button and accidentally hit the "Home" button instead. But it has a Netflix button right on the rom for quick access. Other small issues I'd like to know about are that the player doesn't remember your position on the DVD and it's impossible to go back to a normal DVD. to the main menu by pressing the pop-up menu button. If instead I want to return to the menu in the middle or at the end of a show, I have to press the chapter skip button until it reaches the last chapter and goes home on its own. Something annoying, but something alive. Oh, and a button that says "Home" doesn't mean "Main Menu". You will quickly understand. So far so good, I'm satisfied! The picture is good, the discs run smoothly. :-)
