Review on 🔒 Motorcraft FC961 Fuel Cap: A Reliable Push-In Style Solution for Optimal Fuel Efficiency by Marty Orthodontics

Fits my 2001 Ford Explorer XLT. This is the exact same cap that I bought from my local Ford dealer - I replaced the original gas cap about 6 years ago after my "gas cap light" came on. After I replaced the original cap (which felt good to me) the gas cap light was still on. I found that my "gas pen" had a hole in it, so I replaced the pen as well. Ford replacement cover reinstalled and the light went out. This part I bought from Revain is exactly the same as the one from my Ford dealer. The only reason I had to replace it was because the lancet broke and I was worried I would leave a refill cap on the pump. The old replacement didn't click and neither does this one, but you can feel it snap into place. When the lid is firmly closed, the inscriptions on the lid are at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions. I am happy with my purchase. I buy all parts from Revain and am very happy with the delivery and service.
