Thinking about the V5 version for 2020. I've been using the projector for 3 months now. I really want to like the device. I have used 4 projectors since I found a portable one to be much more useful. Just a word of warning, the V5 doesn't clearly advertise the battery. So if you plan to use the device as a portable projector/charger, get another one. Bad: The auto-keystone feature is limited, although it works. cornerstone to make it work. Manual focus, I'm not sure if it's just my block, but every time I get proper focus it seems to reset when I turn off the block, forcing me to stop every time I hit the block turn on to do again! Finally the auto-on function. Well it doesn't exist, by that I mean pairing it with Google Chrome so you can use it as a smart feature with Google Home. Ugliness: This device cost me $450. You know what you can get for $500 for Philips 4K quantum dot technology. The 4K capability in this projector feels like more than 1080p! Nothing sharper. The brand is completely dissatisfied with this. I should have bought Xigimi or another reputable brand. This is not a negative tirade! This is just an honest review of the device from someone experienced with a portable projector. Pros: AirPlay and Miracast work 95% of the time. This isn't a very convenient feature if you're using the default window or an Apple device. There are enough Android features to keep the device usable and the speaker is loud enough for ambient noise of 60-75 decibels. This is acceptable to me with its limited size. The device is small and light enough to carry around with ease. Finally, the brightness is sufficient for medium-bright fluorescent lamps. Daylight open window forget it. The dark theater script is good! impressive enough to surprise your late netflix and chill script.
