I loved these shovels! I love how big they are and how they sit on the end of the pan. I've made creamy potato soup and used this spoon to scoop it into different bowls. As the process progressed, the red color bled into my soup! The dissatisfaction doesn't even come close to what I'm feeling. I bought 2 of these so I have to be careful what I use them for. They were also difficult to clean. When I put all the soup in the freezer containers, the soup was already dry on the spoon, but it should have just dissolved in the hot soapy water. It wasn't like that. I had to erase it more than I expected. So I hope others are luckier than me.
