I read the reviews before buying them and was a little worried they wouldn't work properly but they did. This is how I do it, and when I remove them, the nail polish just falls off in one piece: Dampen a pad and wrap it around each nail, starting with your pinky and ending with your thumb. Make sure the pad is over the nail. When you're done with the first hand, put on a disposable glove. Make a second hand. You shouldn't have any problems with a glove on your first hand. Put a glove on your other hand and set a timer for 20 minutes. You can do other things with gloves. After 20 minutes, remove the glove and remove the pads one at a time, removing the nail polish from each nail. If chopsticks get stuck to the tips, gentle pressure with an orange chopstick should loosen them. I did this without filing the tip of the polish (I forgot) and it worked just as well.
