I was worried about all the people saying their iPad Mini doesn't fit and mine fits perfectly. Either these people didn't have the parts or they didn't assemble it properly (and I'll admit the instructions are sorely lacking). Despite the poor instructions, assembly is not very difficult. The stand comes with eight "clamps" that can be combined in different configurations of four for different tablet sizes. The shortest four clips are perfect for my iPad mini. The base of the mount is spring loaded and pulls down to hold the tablet in place and feels very secure. There are also four small end caps to keep the clips from slipping off, which are a bit tricky to snap into place. Just make sure the rounded end of the end cap is facing out so it's flush with the outside corners.
