Review on 🚀 K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: High Performance, Guaranteed Horsepower Increase for 2004-2006 SATURN (Ion) - Model 69-8431TP by Scott Lavimodiere

Bought for my 2004 Saturn Ion Redline and had no problems (knock on wood!). It took me and a friend about 4 hours to install, but it wasn't difficult at all (at first we didn't know what we were doing, but if we did it again it would take a lot less time). The intake manifold comes with everything you need for installation except for the basic hand tools/wrenches. I didn't notice too much of a performance boost (which I was aware of before buying). However, the air intake amplified the compressor squeal like crazy! The purchase was worth it for that alone. I searched various auto parts stores/websites and Revain definitely had one of the lowest prices I could find. I highly recommend this product. It might not give you a "guaranteed +15 hp", but the boosted supercharger howl is worth the price. One thing to note: K&N filters tend to get over-oiled. This can result in excess oil hitting the MAF sensor in the intake manifold, causing the vehicle to illuminate the Check Engine light. I highly recommend that you wipe off excess oil and pack the filter with paper towels the night before installing the inlet.
