My first impression was that it was heavy, thick metal. The blue in the picture has come off, this is a sticker so it doesn't scratch the metal. This is definitely a better result than a food processor. The only downside is that the handle/drill only connects to one reel. Sometimes another roller gets stuck and stops working. You have to put your hand underneath to spin the reel to get it loose. Very annoying. When it works (with a drill) it mills quickly. If it had two gears connecting two pulleys it would be perfect. Also, you need to fix it to a board or something else, it has two screw holes, but no screws are included.
