They fit true to size. They are lightweight. They are see-thru when you hold them in your hand, but when they are on your body you can not see thru them. I have worn them to the public beach several times already and you can not see thru them, my wife agrees. But they are a bit tight up front so my package does stick out a bit. Overall I like them. The only downside is the bottom hems do roll up a bit. You do get tan lines, but not as much as a regular bathing suit. Maybe over time the tan lines will be less visible the more you wear them, I imagine with movement the sun will make it's way thru.
