Review on Polycom VVX 310 Business Media Phone (Power Adapter Excluded) by Jill Williams

Revainrating 3 out of 5

OK: I would think Polycom would be the best phone, but not in this case.

We bought two types of phones to test: this (the Polycom, we thought was the gold standard) and then the Yealink T32G, which was cheaper. I didn't like Polycom's speakerphone, and I didn't like the setting - typing letters/passwords on a real phone is quite difficult (multiple clicks on letters, and passwords only show **, so you have to count how many times you typed press the key to enter _ or another special character - very difficult to understand correctly). Now that it's set up it's working fine, but the colleague who's sticking with it has asked for a second phone and he's going to use this one for a special development occasion and Yealink for his regular use.
