Great phone at a great price!

What can I say, it's Polycom. I use it with FreePBX and use the free deployment tool. There is no specific one for the VVX310, but for the VVX500. The configuration files are the same except for the number of lines. However, the phone correctly ignores additional lines and positions. They also use the same firmware. I love the built in 1Gb/s switch at a great price. HD Voice is ideal for internal calls and calls from FreePBX to FreePBX. You should have heard the pin drop! High quality and…

OK: I would think Polycom would be the best phone, but not in this case.

We bought two types of phones to test: this (the Polycom, we thought was the gold standard) and then the Yealink T32G, which was cheaper. I didn't like Polycom's speakerphone, and I didn't like the setting - typing letters/passwords on a real phone is quite difficult (multiple clicks on letters, and passwords only show **, so you have to count how many times you typed press the key to enter _ or another special character - very difficult to understand correctly). Great VOIP Phones

We've recently started upgrading our office phones with Polycom SoundPoint IP 335 phones. All of the phones are connected via Power-Over-Ethernet (POE), so it makes sense to spend less on one model that doesn't. A power cord isn't included because we don't need it. We use them with RingCentral and they work great, although they do take some time to set up. Overall, this is a HUGE improvement over previous phones.
