The circular lighting on one of our Hunter fans stopped working. It turned out to be ballast. This device was cheap and worked great. The lamp connection is standard and works perfectly. I had to connect the 120v plug from the original ballast to this one then it was all plug and play. The wires were much longer than needed for my application, I cut them before splicing. I can't fault the manufacturer for this extra step, the required connector is application dependent and not intended for a specific device.
