I bought this to fit in a kitchen cabinet that is only about 3 inches deep. It's connected to an Apple Airport Express through a tiny 90W amp and sounds pretty good. So if you need good sound for your music and the room isn't deep and doesn't lend itself to stereo, take one of these and feed it both the left and right channels (I combined them with an amp and then just used one audio channel). Mono audio is underrated: unless you're listening somewhere in the middle from two decently separated speakers, you're better off with a single audio channel. Save stereo for rooms in your home where good stereo sound is possible and likely.
