Review on Lufkin HX46N Wood Rule Hook by Brian Trujillo

Lufkin X46 Red End Six Foot Rule. I've been using this particular model rule for over 50 years. There are other brands but they all seem weak compared to me. These days people wonder what I use and make fun of me for not using a tape measure (although I also carry a tape measure in my pocket now). I hate passing this on to anyone because they don't know how to open it and want to bend the sticks the wrong way. Oops. But for me they are an extension of my hands and one will last me for several years. Just smear it with a little grease from time to time before dirt and dust can wear out the pivots. Will i buy it again? If I live long enough to waste my new one, yes I will buy it again.
