Review on Sharp GB004WJSA Universal Remote Control: For All Sharp BRAND TV, Smart TV - 1 Year Warranty - Find the Perfect Replacement by Lamar Vanderburg

I ordered this remote for my Sharp TV thinking it was the original remote but it is not. This is a universal remote control that is pre-programmed for Sharp TVs. This gives me access to all menu and setup functions, but direct channel entry doesn't work. When I press the number key, the TV makes a "click" sound but does not change the channel. I tried to program the remote control for other Sharp TVs but it didn't work. But to be honest it may be a problem with my TV and not the remote because another universal remote (different brand) does the same thing.
