I bought this for my LC-55UB30U Open Box as the original remote didn't come with it. I've been looking for an original remote that has no numbers, got horrible reviews and is worthless. This one works great and has more features than the original. The only complaint is that you have to press the buttons a little further than you would on higher end remotes like the OEM remotes, but for the price and features I'm happy with that.

As the name suggests, this thing worked right out of the box for my Aquos TV. As an added bonus, it has a lot of buttons right on the front that you'd have to dig through the menu to find, like the sleep and browsing functions. I've had this TV for many years and only found a few settings that I wasn't aware the TV has this remote control. The only thing that would make it perfect is the backlight. Overall a good remote.

Update: Less than a month later the remote stopped working. It worked last night but not this morning. I've done all troubleshooting to no avail. I will return it and find a more durable remote. I've had the remote for a few weeks now and so far it's better than the original that came with the TV. It was easy to program (it took a few codes, but it was easy) and watching Netflix has never been easier. I bought this for one reason, the sleep button. The tiny, useless remote that came with the Sharp TV didn't have a sleep button. My wife uses this feature EVERY night when she falls asleep in front of the TV. The setup is very strange and the lack of information made it difficult. The buttons are very difficult to press.
