These are metric sizes, not imperial
These dowels are of acceptable quality but the UK sizes listed are not accurate. Today I drilled a 3/8" hole with a dowel setting tool and the pin was too tight. You could sand them down or use a larger drill bit, 10mm is .394" not .375".
