I recently installed carpet in my home and have an old dining room set and of course I was worried about scratching the hardwood floor. They easily attached to the legs of my chair. I really like that the felt bottom is thicker and sticks to the silicone "glove". It fits snugly around my chairs so I don't have to worry about them falling off, my chairs slide easily across the floor. My only complaint, which is entirely mine, is that the front legs of my chairs are round and the back legs are square so they can slide off the front legs, but then again, they slide back easily enough, so that's not really the case. big thing.
