Review on Compact Gikfun Mini DC 6V to 12V R385 Water Cooled Water Pump: Efficient Air Diaphragm Pump EK1856 by Missy Mesaros

I got this pump working on my 3D printer which I upgraded to water cooling. Very quiet. I have to look at the vent on the side to see the stator spinning inside to make sure it works. It only worked for me at 3V without a break. Self-inflating so you don't have to worry as much about an air pocket preventing function as with some other designs. Although it can also pump air, it makes a horrible whistling sound. There are other pumps that work better with air. Update 05/10/2019 So after using these pumps for a few months I found that they are not rated for 12v but ran on 5v most of the time and only briefly went to the higher voltage to fill my water Circuits, cooling and dealing with air pockets. Last night both of my pumps started smoking every time the voltage went over 6 volts.
