This is a good compact camera with lots of bells and whistles. It's small enough to fit in your pocket and takes good photos. I've had this camera for about 2 months and have had time to experiment with it a bit. Camera Features and Specifications: This camera has many software modes that can be used without changing camera input variables such as aperture or shutter speed. as well as Iso. This makes it easy for anyone to use and the program modes really work. With the given settings the pictures are good. However, I like to put the camera in manual mode, where I can set the aperture to around 4-5.6. This would give me a good depth of field, especially when shooting indoors. I was able to take some great photos with these settings during our Christmas vacation. Outdoor photography with this camera is great. Very good color rendering and white balance. An additional feature of this camera is the ability to recognize and focus on multiple objects at the same time, thanks to which group photos are better illuminated. Videos recorded with this camera are fine for outdoor recording, but are still noisy indoors. One of the additional features of this camera is the ability to capture photos that fit the 1920 x 1280 frame size and fill the screen of your HDTV. This photo frame is very suitable for viewing photos on HDTV without black bars or stretching. The only negative I can find for this camera, and that's why I didn't give it an excellent rating (and maybe I am), is that the photo quality is sharp, the color reproduction is good but not smooth. I still see noise on digital photos after the explosion. These noises are not visible in photos taken with the Nikon D1X. However, this is a good portable camera.
