BUYER ATTENTION! So I ordered this kit back on day one and was never able to fit it about a week ago for unforeseen reasons. let me tell you I fought this BLtouch like crazy. I've been searching the internet for days why this is NOT working. I eventually found several posts on Reddit discussing wire colors mismatch in the included harness. I traced them onto the board and found that although the color pattern was reversed, the wires were finished where they should have been. My problem was that when the end of the Z probe was fired it didn't stop the Z axis from moving down causing the nozzle to dig a lot into my damn bed. not correct? Hey, it's possible! But no dice. I checked with other users with the same sensor and board. So after further reading. I see that some Melzi based boards have a SMD capacitor soldered in line with the Z endstop circuit and removing this capacitor allows the board to feel the probe triggering. no did not help. Now on my board there is only a blank space where the capacitor c7 was. lol. What now? Good. Next the Pin27 board was added to try to work around the problem if my board broke for some reason? I assume this is also possible? Again no dice. Same scenario no matter what I did again. (Insert facepalm here.) So, a few days I buy, contact ANTclabs and find out that my probe isn't really working. OK, I'll get it back. but then i see a terrible message from amazon. "The return window has been closed, does not meet the requirements." Hahaha. Oh, isn't life wonderful? So the probe sucked, I basically donated to their cause. I couldn't do anything about it. Now to the rest of the parts of the set. (Capricorn, puff lock fittings and bed springs) everything was perfect. There are absolutely no complaints about this article. But the probe deal really got me thinking. The moral of the story is, if you buy a probe, make sure it works before your return deadline or you'll end up in the same boat as me. (Reintroduce Facepalm.)
