Good perch but as others have said it's not pumice.

As many other reviewers have noted, this perch is not made out of pumice, but rather sand coated plastic (as far as I know it can be made out of pumice). What can I say, for the price I like it. It seems durable and attractive enough for the money. I really think it will serve its intended purpose of exercising my budgies' paws and wearing out his claws a bit. If the title had said "Sand Coated Plastic Bass" it would have been a five star item. As it is, I'm deducting a star for lack of clarity.
