I have used them twice 1) On an adjustable bed. I pinned two ends of the sheet to the head end of the bed (tucked them under the mattress) and pinned the other ends to the underside of the flat sheet at the foot end of the bed. Sounds weird, but it worked really well for a person using an adjustable bed to sleep in a weightless position. The flat sheet didn't stay up all night. After I installed the clamps, the flat sheet stayed in place. So five stars for that. 2) With mattress topper on a double bed. Clips were arranged side to side. The mattress topper has very elastic sides made from a slippery material designed for deep mattresses. The bed clamps could not be adjusted enough to hold the mattress pad in place without the clamps flexing and denting the mattress. Maybe 5-6 braces would work or changing the mattress cover. As it is, two stars. All in all, the first app was my main goal, so I'm happy with my purchase. The clips themselves attach well and the size of the elastic allows for a wide range of adjustments. Note. It's a lot easier to do this with a second pair of hands so you can see what you're doing and make sure you're clamping the material between the jaws of the clamp!
