For years I used a small plastic bag that I got at the car wash every time I drove in the car. It worked well but my wife hated it and it was difficult for anyone in the car to throw out the trash as it was next to my front seat. It also filled up quickly and tended to get a little weird if you understand my slipping. This is perfect for my SUV. It's just behind the center console so anyone can reach it.
